Häufig gestellte Fragen zu Brač

How do you get to Brač island?

The most common route is a Jadrolinija car ferry from Split to Supetar (50 minutes, runs multiple times daily year-round). In summer, catamarans also connect Split to Bol directly. Brač Airport near Bol has limited seasonal charter flights.

How many days do you need on Brač?

Two days are enough for Zlatni Rat beach and Bol. Three to four days let you explore Supetar, the stone-carving village of Pučišća, hike Vidova Gora (the highest Adriatic island peak at 778m), and find quieter coves away from the main beaches.

What is Brač island known for?

Brač is best known for Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn), a distinctive V-shaped pebble beach near Bol that shifts shape with wind and currents. The island is also famous for its white stone — the same limestone used to build Diocletian's Palace in Split and, reportedly, the White House in Washington.
